1998 Mercedes CL500 97,000 miles This car runs great, has excellent power (315 hp @ 5600 rpm) and shifts through the gears (5-speed) smoothly (transmission filter last six months). The car is a pleasure to drive. The engine is clean and the car does not drip oil. Rear self leveling shocks replaced with regular shocks. New tires last six months. Front fog lights replaced with aftermarket lights with blue lens that shine white. Custom mesh grill. Used OEM grill pictured in trunk goes with car. Not difficult to swap grills. The air conditioning works as it should. Bose stereo system sounds great. CD changer in trunk has been removed for adapter to be plugged in for Bluetooth. Lumbar support does not work for either seat but all the other adjustments do. The phone in armrest has been replaced with drink holders. See picture. The windows work as they should which includes slightly lowering when the door is opened. Sunroof window opens and closes. Sunroof slide cover has been removed. Roof material is sagging, but not noticeable. See picture of inside roof. Only back left headrest goes up and down. Steering wheel goes in and out but not up and down. Side view mirrors do not fold. Right sideview can be adjusted with control. Left sideview adjusted by hand. Trunk can not be opened from inside car. The gas cap door can not be locked. The remote key does not work. The car looks good but, there are paint scratches and imperfections. See pictures. The car is rust free. The car is inspected and I currently drive it several times a month.
